Anesthesia

Anesthesia may be provided by a combination of board certified physicians and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA).  Our anesthesia providers are part of Anesthesia Care Enterprises, LLC.

The primary physicians included in this group providing anesthesia services for our facility are:

  • Heather Tluczek, MD

CRNA’s providing anesthesia services for our facility are:

  • Pam Passafiume, RN, CRNA
  • Terri Williamson, RN, CRNA

The types of anesthesia provided are as follows:

  • Local:  Local anesthesia numbs just the area being operated on.  An intravenous line (IV) will be used as well to help you relax.  Your surgeon, not an anesthesiologist, administers this type of anesthesia.
  • Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC):  This type of anesthesia relieves pain during surgery and relaxes you without putting you to sleep.  A CRNA administers this type of anesthesia and monitors you throughout your surgery or procedure.
  • General:  This type of anesthesia puts you to sleep during the entire surgery or procedure. A CRNA administers this type of anesthesia and monitors you throughout your surgery or procedure
